On Saturday Feb 14 Hugo and Linda Vermulin attended the seventy-third annual awards banquet of the Antique Automobile Club of America in Philadelphia. Hugo and Linda where there to receive the Pamphilon Distingquished Car Award. This prestigious award is presented at the AACA annual meeting to a pre 1916 self-propelled land vehical of outstanding merit entered in a National Meet. Hugos 1903 Cadillac received a National First at the Hershey Meet this fall.
This award was established in1965 by Mrs. L Edward Pamphilon who gave unsparingly of his time and energy to the Antique Automobile Club of America and to the advancement of the hobby. Hugo spent countless hours over 3 years in the shop to put this jewel on the road. Hugo maintains the the result would not have achieved its high standard where it not for the help and guidence of Peter Fawcett and the team at Fawcett Motors of Whitby Ontario. Congratulations Hugo and Linda!
